Construction Opportunities
EllisDon is committed to delivering transformational infrastructure that leaves a positive impact on its communities, and it's our people that make this happen. Skilled trade work is performed by the subcontractors awarded to the project. Each of these subcontractors secure their workforce through their affiliated union. EllisDon is working with our subcontractors and unions to offer opportunities for apprenticeships and journeypersons.
West Park's new hospital is in its early stages of construction. If you are looking for opportunities within this project, there are a number of ways you can get involved.
1. Register yourself with a union
As we ramp up construction, the new hospital will need people from a variety of trades and disciplines throughout the duration of the project. Our subcontractors hire from their affiliated union hall. If you are interested in a particular trade, we encourage you to apply to the local union for their apprenticeship program.

Business Opportunities
EllisDon will support local businesses and social enterprises in the York South-Weston area whenever possible. Occasionally, we look for businesses such as food caterers, equipment and materials suppliers, and any others as required throughout the duration of the project.
